In this article, we present an experience based on the use of cinema in the context of primary prevention of violent acts against women, to a group of teachers from schools in Brescia. Drawing from fields such as Medical Humanities, we propose a narrative and “personal knowledge” approach through audiovisual media. Through a cinematic journey, a focus was placed on encountering “the other” starting from an understanding of oneself. The article introduces the “investigative approach” for viewing selected films.
