In the field of Medical Humanities research, cinema represents a true pedagogical device, capable of bringing the spectator closer to the affective and cultural aspects that accompany various situations of fragility. In relation to the specific world of disability, it can, by virtue of its syncretic and multisensory nature, implement a projection of the spectator into the perceptive-sensory dimension of the character, for an ‘enhanced’, more direct and integrated understanding.
