The paper analyzes the potential of Virtual Reality (VR) in innovating medical education by integrating it with Narrative Medicine. It explores how VR can enhance the empathy of healthcare professionals and students through immersive simulations that replicate real clinical experiences. The aim of this contribution is to introduce, through a series of questions, the clear positive and proactive innovations offered by this technology, placing them within a scientific, ethical, social, and educational debate on the synergistic relationship between VR and Narrative Medicine.
