Abstract

A training area to be implemented in university courses is that of Narrative Medicine, which through diverse tools allows the health care providers (HCPs) a deeper clinical assessment and knowledge of the patient. A tested tool is the narrative diary. From the results of a study, it was perceived as beneficial by parents and HCPs in communication, trusting relationship, and knowledge of the patient’s and family’s experience; so it is important to promote training in Narrative Medicine to integrate it into
daily clinical practice.
