The thematic core of this article is the analysis of interper-sonal communication in pedagogy, that is fundamental in the helping relationship. Communication in pedagogy has a fundamental strategic relevance. It necessarily represents the intermediary of the helping rela-tionship, and the outcome of the clinical process largely depends on its progress. In particular, it highlights how the Reflecting methodology fits into the historical-cultural tradition of scientific studies and clinical expe-riences around communication and contributes to its deepening and development.
