Current global feminism constitutes a complex discourse on oppressive relationships, bridging the specific violence of gender relations to the topic of global order crisis. Feminism, in connection with pacifism, has the ability to stigmatize and unveil how war oppositions are functional to the maintenance of the status quo, which is to say, to preserve institutions and hierarchies that, in light of the state of war, are accepted for what they are and not questioned; primarily the patriarchal norms that have always been the dominant powers in societies. War guarantees an "identity blockage", in other words, when violence and death are involved, everyone - and mostly women - must keep quiet and obey. When the conflict is going on, no critical reading of reality can be applied, no dissent can be shown, but all kinds of diversity, such as gender, ethnic, cultural, must be denied. Feminism can show the emersion of patriarchal authority and can serve to reveal ongoing hierarchies.
