Abstract

This contribution proposes a reflection on the particular contribution that women can bring into democratic political systems, with particular attention to the characteristics that education in politics should assume in order to support every citizen to do his part for the common good. Starting from the analysis of the reasons that can lead pedagogy and politics to adequately confront each other on the issue, the authors see education in representation and participation as two absolute priorities in promoting gender equality throug dynamics of public interest.
