Peace education through primary school textbooks over the past 20 years

This paper provides an opportunity to reflect on the topic of peace education through some textbooks currently in use in primary school. School play a central role in the formal education processes of individuals, and despite the many online and offline educational resources available to children and youth, the textbook remains central in the primary school years.Therefore, analyzing whether and how such an important topic as peace education is offered can be a stimulus and a resource for teachers and those who in various capacities work in education in this age group.
